I want my digipak to be very artistic and most importantly, relevant to my music video, the lyrics of the song 'photograph' (my music videos song), and my narrative.
I know I definitely want to include images of my main character from my music video on the digipak rather than use animation as I think this will keep the digipak relevant and will help me stick to the theme and style of the music video, as I don't want to stray from this too much.
I want my digipak to have a slight antique/old/battered style to it to emphasise the fact my music video is all about memories, I'd like to do this using artistic photos and faded filters.
I think I may incorporate leaving home in the digipak, for example a photo of the girl holding a suitcase, or even just the girl looking back at old memories as this would fit in with the song I am using... or, instead of this I may use a theme of polaroids showing the many memories the girl has had.
In the next few blogposts I shall share my ideas with you and step by step show you how I construct the final product.
I will be doing a photoshoot today with my main character, I shall upload the best photos and decide from there what I think would be best to use for the digipak.
